With over 2000 visitors to The Engineering Expo 2017 in ITSligo Yesterday (4th May), where local and national companies including ourselves
showcased a diverse range of engineering skills and opportunities to students and businesses.
The morning started with young visitors from local schools, we were very impressed with the knowledge they showed about 3D printing and what is possible to create, in one or two cases these young entrepreneurs were telling us what they will be able to make when they are older.... "in there future". I can only guess that these brilliant minds will be the ones to make it possible.
Some of the visitors we meet had travelled from Shannon, Cork, Mayo, Donegal and of course our own local companies (some even travelled from "A Galaxy Far, Far Away"), ..... and yes we have the photo to prove it.
It was great to see the level of interest that was shown by those whom we spoke to about our 3D Printing service. And how going forward Neratek can help add value to these companies by providing a personal, technically advanced and speedy service to the additive manufacturing word.
It looks as if, this Engineering event in Sligo could become the go-to event for engineering in Ireland in the next few years as it steady grows in numbers each year. NeraTek are already planning to be there again next year.
Well done to the organisers (ITSligo) of the event, it was a fantastic day.
