Available in various materials, great for fine detail and smooth finish. Minimum wall thickness 0.4mm, minimum detail 0.2mm to 0.3mm, Accuracy of +/- 0.1% (with a lower limit of +/- 0.2mm).

Parts are generally printed and shipped with in 12 to 24 hours after receiving order confirmation, subject to part size, quantity and machine availability.

Stereolithography

Best option for small parts. Build size of 250mm x 250mm x 235mm is available. Suitable for visual models with limited functionality and mechanical strength. Colours available: Grey, but can be painted afterwards. Minimum wall thickness 1 to 3mm, minimum detail 0.5mm, Accuracy of +/- 0.2% (with a lower limit of +/- 0.2mm).

Stereolithography

Best option for large parts. Build size of 2100mm x 700mm x 800mm is available. This resin is suitable for painting, typically used as presentation models with limited functionality and mechanical strength. Colours available: White to Bluish shine, Transparent (not 100% clear). Minimum wall thickness 1 to 3mm, minimum detail 0.5mm. Accuracy of +/- 0.2% (with a lower limit of +/- 0.2mm).

FDM

(Fused Deposition Modelling)

Materials available are ABS, Models made from this material are suited towards functional applications, as this resin properties match 80% of that from its equivalent injection moulded grade. The surface finish is rougher than compared with other materials using different technologies. Build size of 400mm x 355mm x 400mm. Minimum wall thickness 1mm, minimum detail 0.3mm. Accuracy of +/- 0.1% (with a lower limit of +/- 0.2mm).

Laser Sintering

​

The material used in this process is slightly granular in appearance and somewhat porous. It is used where some degree of flexibility is required and has the ability to withstand minor impacts. The natural colour is white, but parts can be dyed to achieve other colours. Build size of 400mm x 400mm x 330mm. Minimum wall thickness 1mm, minimum detail 0.3mm. Accuracy of +/- 0.3% (with a lower limit of +/- 0.3mm).

(Direct Metal Laser Sintering)

 

Materials choices of Aluminum or Steels are available with un-polished or polished finishes. Build size of 250mm x 250mm x 295mm. Minimum wall thickness 0.5mm for Aluminum and 1 to 3mm for Steel, minimum detail 0.25mm for Aluminum and 1mm for Steel. Accuracy of +/- 2% (with a lower limit of +/- 0.2mm).
